水口村是紫金县水墩镇的一个行政村。水口原是水南大队辖下的一个自然村（1958年，属龙窝公社），1961年脱离水南大队，以自然村的名字立为水口大队。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1963年起归水墩公社管辖；1983年设水口乡，1987年称水口村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年重设水口村委会，延续至今。[1]

2023年度的广东省卫生村命名于2024年3月，水口村获此称号。[1]
