地名与沿革[edit]

村被五座小山环抱，形如五角星，因此得名。[2] 1949年以前是五星乡；1958年之后为五星大队，由革命委员会管理；1983年设五星管理区；1999年改成五星村委会。[3]

概况与荣誉[edit]

村分15个村民小组，在册575户、3310人，总面积7.73平方千米，耕地2064亩，种水稻，上一年农村经济总收入1977万元。[1] 2024年4月入选「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单。[1]
