尚德村在高要区西北部，距河台镇10公里，面积约18平方公里。[1]

据博雅地名网，村辖21个村民小组，人口合计2000多人，距高要市区70公里。村里有丰富的高岭土，经多年依法开采，成为稳定的瓷土供应基地，壮大了集体经济；村民另种水稻、玉桂、砂糖桔、佛手、巴戟和桉树。2019年9月，尚德村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2021年12月，获广东省爱卫会授予2021年广东省卫生村称号。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放前隶高要一区；1952年建河台罗西乡，1958年划归乐城公社，名为尚德大队，1959年划归河台公社，1983年更名称尚德乡，1987年更名称尚德村委会，1989年建尚德管理区，1998年并入改称尚德村民委员会。[2]
