历史沿革[edit]
土改时（1952年）为五星小乡，1957年组建五星农业社，人民公社化时的名称是五星大队，1983年11月公社撤销、恢复五星乡。1987年1月撤乡改村，调整为五星村民委员会，属荔城镇；2004年增江街成立，改属增江街。[1]
人口与环境[edit]
村情简介记全村辖11个自然村、18个经济合作社，362户1609人，四面环山，水源充足；村民以水田、蔬菜和果园种植为主。[1]
荣誉[edit]
五星村在2019年9月列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
