上塘社区是惠州市惠阳区淡水街道中心城区的一个社区，居民委员会设于1988年，2001年起称社区居民委员会。[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，社区办公地点一带在开发之前建有一座上塘庙，社区即以此庙得名。居民委员会于1988年3月8日成立，2001年5月改称上塘社区居民委员会。[1]

区域与人口[edit]

社区位于淡水中心区，东邻南四社区，西接坝尾社区，南面与松岭社区相对，总面积约0.82平方公里，设5个居民小组。该页介绍写到，社区有常住2085余户、8708余人，另有流动人口4000余人。辖区内设有淡水街道办事处、惠阳区的交警大队、区委党校、中医院、绿苑中学和上塘派出所等单位。[1]

2022年9月，上塘社区获评「惠州市2022年度绿色社区」。[1]
