镇安村在化州市丽岗镇东南部，辖19个村民小组，在册1387户、6003人，面积9.3平方千米，耕地1235亩。1961年起，镇安圩曾是镇安区的驻地。[1][2]
镇安村在2019年10月进入当年的广东省卫生村名录。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国后期和解放初期属北安乡。公社时期（1958年）为镇安公社下属的镇安大队，到1983年成为镇安乡，1987年并入丽岗乡。丽岗镇1988年建立后，这里设镇南村民委员会，1989年名称改为镇安管理区办事处，1999年起定名镇安村民委员会，一直沿用。[1]

年平均气温约22.8℃，年降雨量约1690毫米，属南亚热带季风气候。[1]
经济[edit]
村里的作物有苦瓜、辣椒、荷兰豆，特色收入有罗非鱼、肉猪、母猪和佛手瓜。村委会在目今、山底等村庄推广种瓜、养鱼；镇安圩及村内还开有多家手袋、玩具、皮革等小型加工厂。[1]
