名称与沿革[edit]
社区的办公地点设在大埔住宅区内，名称由此而来。居民委员会在2007年8月组建。[1]
区域与人口[edit]
社区面积约3.75平方公里，东到站前西路，西到淡澳河，北到金星大道，南面是大亚湾西区，设7个居民小组，办公地点在大埔东路。据该页，约有2200户、6000人，流动人口约2000人。区内主要道路有中山路、叶挺路、金星大道和站前西路，建有瑞景居、祥和苑等住宅小区，设有车站派出所、惠阳区自来水总公司，以及大埔小学、文昌小学、阳光小学。[2]
2022年9月，大埔社区获评「惠州市2022年度绿色社区」。[1]
