排沙社区是广东省佛山市顺德区龙江镇的社区，在镇政府西南，龙山商业中心以南，西接顺番公路[1][2]。名称由排涌、沙洲两处聚落各取一字合成，2001年9月成为龙江镇第一批挂牌“村改居”的单位[1][2]。
历史沿革[edit]
据当地资料，先有黎、邓二姓从南雄珠玑巷迁到崖山（今龙山）开辟排涌，随后左姓三人迁到崖山的劳村，即今沙洲[2]。相传明代某年朝廷命官到劳村搜查犯官，一夜之间将劳村改称沙洲，排涌、沙洲两埠合称排沙[2]。
1982年以前为排沙大队，1983年至1986年称排沙乡，1987年至1990年称排沙村，1991年至1998年称排沙管理区，1999年又称排沙村；2001年9月改称排沙居委会，2003年1月正式定名排沙社区居委会[1][2]。
人口与经济[edit]
社区分排涌、沙洲两个自然片，共八个居民小组；辖区面积2345亩，其中耕地1423亩、鱼塘980亩[2]。总户数551户，总人口2104人[2]。区内有五金、木器、家具、塑料、印刷等企业，2006年重建扩大了排沙幼儿园[2]。
