水口村是广东省肇庆市四会市龙甫镇西北部的行政村，临龙江河，村委会辖14个自然村、24个村民小组，约3000余人，面积约12平方公里[1]。

地名与沿革[edit]

村名与地形有关：甫田的地坑和鹧鸪坑两条溪流在此汇合流出，故称水口[1]。1950年这里属四会县第一区下甫乡，1957年并入甫蓉乡，1961年成立水口大队，1983年改为水口乡，1987年为水口管理区，1998年设水口村民委员会至今[1]。

经济与建设[edit]

据博雅地名网，水口村是龙甫镇种养业规模最大的村委会，以鱼塘养殖、养猪和种粮为主[1]。1986年村民自筹资金修筑了长4.5公里的水泥路水口大道；1991年香港人士陈明捐资为水口小学建了陈明教学楼[1]。市交通局后来开通了市区到水口的村级公共汽车，并在水口大道沿线增建了候车亭[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，水口村被列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」；2021年12月，获广东省爱卫会授予2021年广东省卫生村称号[1]。
