东兴社区是广东省江门市开平市长沙街道下辖的社区，位于开平市中心，居委会设在人和东路8号二楼。[1]

社区面积1.2平方千米，边界是新海路、苍江河、步行街和广场南路，有楼宇248幢、居民7234户。官方介绍称，总人口23207人，其中户籍人口8177人。[1]

辖区内有市政府、民政局、教育局、谭宏帙纪念小学等机关单位20多个，个体私营企业1200多家；社区党委下设4个党支部，有党员127人。[1]

社区曾获“江门市宜居社区”和广东省民政厅“六好平安和谐社区”等称号，并采用“网格长”制度管理旧楼宇。[1]
