联和社区是佛山市南海区狮山镇辖下的社区，原为罗村街道联和村，因修建机场而由几处村庄合并成新村，2013年区划调整后归狮山镇。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

联和在明清时隶属黄鼎司的西隆堡，民国十六年（1927年）之后叫乐安乡，又称西隆乡。1953年为建飞机场，上沙坑、瓜部两村搬迁，大朗、小朗并入联和，同年10月又有数个小村的居民在大朗村边合建新村，这个新村当时设联和乡人民政府。其后依次为联和生产大队（1958年起）、乡（1983年至1986年）、村民委员会（1987年至1989年）、管理区（1990年至1999年）。2011年“村改居”改设居委会；2013年区划调整，联和归狮山镇管辖。[1]

概况[edit]

村情介绍（经博雅地名网转录）称，联和面积3.83平方公里，有耕地1000亩，21个村民小组，常住6681人。荣誉方面，2003年获广东省卫生村，2004年获南海区文明村。2010年农村经济总收入约20.55亿元；辖区内约300家企业，行业以不锈钢、五金、灯饰和制衣为主。[2]
