五星社区是佛山市南海区狮山镇辖下的社区，原为五星村，位于狮山东南部，2011年起设居民委员会。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

五星最早见于1952年，当时隶属南海县四区芝安乡，土改后于次年归入务庄小乡；1956年，几个自然村联合办起五星农业社。红星运河在1959年由小塘公社开挖，河道恰好穿过五星，因此这里转归小塘，设五星大队，其下的生产队以杨坊、王坊、华木、亨美、萧家等村落为单位。[2]

1983年起，这里先后以朱山乡、朱山村委会、五星管理区为名；1999年之后又回到村委会的建制，到2011年“村改居”时转为居民委员会。[2]

人口与管理[edit]

据博雅地名网转录的社区简介，五星管辖面积1.8平方公里，登记居民5321人，下设5个村民小组，小塘工业大道从村中穿过；村党总支有党员54名，辖区内有厂企商铺132间，2010年6月建成社区服务中心。[1]
