东桥社区是东里镇镇区的社区之一，居民委员会设在镇中心地段。名称由来是它在东里镇区东部，靠近东里大桥。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

这一带原先同样属东陇镇的居民管理区。管理区在1965年分成三个办事处，东桥一带是第三个；1974年底分设后，归东里镇管辖，1984年称第三办事处。其后是东桥居委会（1986年11月）、东桥管理区（1998年9月），到2002年2月设为东桥社区。[2]
