历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历：这里是近海的一片大沙洲，起初叫头洲，后改「和洲」，取和顺的美意。清乾隆年间，溪南南砂的村民为方便在海边耕作，陆续迁来定居，以陈姓为主。[1]
经济[edit]
村情介绍称，全村1048户、4431人，土地4812亩，耕地2650.80亩（经济数字为2007年），种植水稻、蔬菜水果，养殖三鸟和水产。[1] 2019年9月，和洲村列入2018年度广东省民主法治示范村（社区）的创建单位名单。[1]
