东林美村是广东省汕头市澄海区上华镇下辖的行政村，在华东路东侧，为革命老区村，明末创村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，周围七村均以“东林”为名，称“东林七村”，此村居七村之尾，原名东林尾，后雅称东林美。1953年与涵头、吕厝、沙坝、湖心、下溪东合为沙坝乡；1984年东林美、涵吕、沙坝、下溪东合设东林美乡。[1]

村简介载，全村1295人，295户，耕地近329亩。[1]

2022年1月，东林美进入「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建名单；2026年1月，又被评为「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。[1]
