历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，传说宋末黄、刘两姓在此定居，因东、西凤岭横列，地势高如垅，别称凤岭村，后称横陇。1953年与东林头、陇尾合为陇尾乡，1956年并入沙坝乡，1959年设横陇生产大队。[1]
人口民族[edit]
村简介载，全村人口5000多人，耕地1600余亩，党员120多人。[1]
经济[edit]
改革开放前以农业为主，新世纪以来转向工业和加工业。横陇村在2020至2022年连续进入淘宝村名单，2023年4月进入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建名单。[1]
