历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，宋末江西人来此创居，传说村门出自吕洞宾之手，叫仙门村，后称吕厝；另一说，北宋宰相吕大防遭贬南下，病逝于途，儿子吕景山行至此处落户，村因此叫吕厝。明初福建莆田人在附近修渠，在村头筑涵闸，称涵头村。后两村合并，各取一字为涵吕。[1]
1946年仍设涵头、吕厝两村，1953年并入沙坝乡。[1]
人口民族[edit]
该页称全村139户，593人，耕地198亩。2019年9月，涵吕进入2018年度「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单。[1]
