历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，中心村原由白兔大队管辖，1960年重新划分大队时，因驻地处在辖区中部而设中心大队；1983年12月归入白兔乡，1987年1月分设，称中心村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

村名中的「中心」，是因为大队驻地在原辖区的中间位置。[1]

荣誉与名单

  • 2019年9月，中心村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
  • 2024年11月，中心村被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
