新联村属广州市从化区吕田镇，是该镇辖下的行政村。全村面积约12.54平方千米，在吕田镇东部，鱼洞公路穿村而过；下设9个村民小组，博雅地名网记载总人口1168人（年份未注明）。[1]

村名源于1983年设乡：几个大队合组成一个新的乡政府，取名新联。新联大队于1958年设立；1983年12月起同小杉、鱼洞一道并入官联乡；1987年1月重新分开，更名为新联村民委员会，名称沿用到现在。[1]

经济[edit]

村里发展乡村游，种植水果、蔬菜，形成以“一村一品”和乡村游为主的格局，客家民俗是其旅游的特色之一。距从化市区约60公里，离吕田镇约4公里。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
  • 2020年8月，名列「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」（大芥菜）。[1]
  • 2024年11月，被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
