塘田村属广州市从化区吕田镇，是该镇辖下的行政村。全村面积约20.23平方千米，位于国道105线旁，是吕田镇的南大门；下设14个村民小组，博雅地名网记载总人口1949人（年份未注明）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名取自村民委员会驻地塘田村。旱田大队于1958年设立；1980年因与别处重名，改称塘田大队；1983年12月起同草埔、安山一道并入镇安乡；1987年1月重新分开，更名为塘田村民委员会，名称沿用到现在。[1]
经济[edit]
村内只有国道105线一条过境干道，地处丘陵，河道里奇石林立。村集体经济靠小水电站和乡村游，逐步形成以乡村游为主的路子；距从化市区约51公里，离吕田镇约5公里。[1]
