小杉村属广州市从化区吕田镇，是该镇辖下的行政村。全村面积约15.7平方千米，在吕田镇东南部，紧邻广州蓄能水电厂；下设14个村民小组，博雅地名网记载总人口1331人（年份未注明）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名与一副春联有关：1945年春节，一位教师在校门口写下带「小杉」二字的春联，以小杉苗喻学生，乡人此后习称此地为小杉。小杉大队于1958年设立；1983年12月起同官联、鱼洞一道并入官联乡；1987年1月重新分开，更名为小杉村民委员会，名称沿用到现在。[1]

小杉是吕田镇的一条移民村，仅有一条环库公路通外，库区水面开阔。村里结合客家民俗，发展农家乐等乡村游。距从化市区约56公里，离吕田镇约5公里。[1]
