历史沿革[edit]
村名取自村委会驻地水埔村。水埔大队于1958年设立；1983年12月起同狮象一道并入狮象乡；1987年1月重新分开，更名为水埔村民委员会，名称沿用到现在。[1]
经济[edit]
村里开发小水电站增加集体收入，农业以鱼塘养殖、水稻和蔬菜为主。距从化市区约57公里，离吕田镇约2公里。[1]
