塘尾村位于广州市从化区北部山区，隶属良口镇，辖12个经济社；据博雅地名网载，总人口约1760人。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

村名来自村委会所在的塘尾村。[1]1958年设塘尾大队；1983年12月与良明合并为良明乡，1987年1月分出，改设塘尾村民委员会。[1]

地理与经济[edit]

全村面积约4.1平方千米，村委会距从化城区约28公里，距105国道相邻。村集体引进外资建了法国种兔场，并利用鸭洞河水发展集约养鱼；村民以种荔枝和蔬菜为主，也有外出务工者。镇政府还推动该村申报以绿色生产和生态设计为主题的科普特色村项目。[2][1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年11月认定为「2024年广州市高质量就业社区（村）」；2024年4月入选「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单；2023年11月入选「广东“百千万工程”首批典型县镇村」；2021年12月获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」。[1]
