良平村位于广州市从化区北部山区，隶属良口镇，辖32个经济社；据博雅地名网载，总人口约3400人。^[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

村名来自村委会所在的良平村。^[1]1958年设良平大队；1983年12月改设良平乡，1987年1月起称良平村民委员会。^[1]

全村面积约46平方千米，村委会距从化城区约40公里，距105国道约12公里。村东与龙门县的南昆山相邻。村里利用丰富的水资源办小水电和水上漂流；水口古庙、盘古王母后庙等旅游项目在筹划中；境内的天堂山、狮子山、将军山有旅游价值。近年又引进了高山越野车项目。^[2]^[1]

2026年1月认定为「2025年广州市高质量充分就业街镇社区（村）」；2026年1月获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」；2024年11月认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」；2024年3月命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」；2023年8月获评「2022年度“广州市美丽乡村”」。^[1]

德英书社建于民国三十六年（1947年），2015年被从化区列入传统风貌建筑线索名单。^[3]
