历史沿革[edit]

村的建制名称：公社时期叫杨梅大队，1983年成杨梅乡，1985年成杨梅管理区，到1998年1月5日才改称杨梅村民委员会。[1]快懂百科列出的原有自然村有深巷、徐局、巷口、福田、岗北、岗南、塱尾、李局、塘尾、塘悦、新西、旧西、新建、竹新、邓局、竹旧、社边、小塘和杨梅圩等19个。[2]

杨梅村的荣誉创建名单有：2019年9月的「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」，2022年8月的「2022年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」，2023年4月的「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」，以及2024年4月的「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
