乐明村位于广州市从化区北部山区，隶属良口镇，辖6个经济社；据博雅地名网载，总人口约745人。^[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

村名来自村委会所在的乐明村。^[1]1958年设大队，因辖乐明、仙溪两片，称乐溪大队；1983年12月改乐溪乡；1987年1月分出，改设乐明村民委员会。^[1]

全村面积约15.5平方千米，村委会距从化城区约60公里，距105国道约30公里。村里以高山番薯种植为主，也种砂糖桔和蔬菜。^[1]

2024年11月认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」；2023年8月获评「2022年度“广州市美丽乡村”」；2023年5月获广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」；2019年9月列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。^[1]

何氏宗祠为清代祠堂，2015年被从化区列入历史建筑线索名单。^[2]
