谢村是广东省茂名市化州市南盛街道下辖的行政村，在街道南面，辖30个村民小组，是街道6个行政村中村民小组最多、在册人口最多的一个。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，民国时期属庆安乡，建国后属山尾乡；1958年公社化时，辖地曾由鸭埚、谢村、白芙岭三个大队分管，到1962年合成谢村大队，隶南盛公社。1983年成谢村乡，随后的名称是村民委员会（1985年）、管理区办事处（1989年）；1999年再称村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
村民委员会自述（未注年份）：在册1396户、7093人，土地约13625亩，耕地9431亩；种甘蔗、香蕉、水稻、花生、番薯，鱼塘出租是特色收入，上一年农村经济总收入6570万元；村里以养鱼、养猪为特色。[1]2019年9月，谢村上了「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位的名单。[1]
