塘尾村是博罗县麻陂镇下辖的行政村，村子位于一口鱼塘的后面，因此得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
此地清代归苏州巡司署管，民国时划在第七区甲乡；建国后并入第三区麻陂乡。1959年成为麻陂公社的塘尾大队；1983年改为塘尾乡，隶麻陂区；1986年改称管理区；1990年设立塘尾村民委员会。[1]
