香山村是德城街道下辖的行政村，位于街道西部，村落坐落在香山脚下，故名；1999年经德庆县人民政府批准设立。[1]

村分3个村小组，共200户、680人，有党员20名（该页未注明年份）。[1] 3个村小组中有2个县级生态文明村、1个省级卫生村。[1] 村里建有150亩的蔬菜种植基地，供应县城的蔬菜。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建国后这里是香山乡；1958年设香山大队，1983年复称香山乡，1986年改设管理区，1999年起为现在的香山村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，香山村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

德庆人民「二·二八」武装起义纪念亭建在德城街道香山公园的环山公路边，用以纪念1948年初中共德庆地方组织发动的那次起义；亭子在1997年10月开工，次年2月竣工。[2]
