东坑村在漳平市北郊，离市区3公里，交通便利。村内以蔬菜种植为主要产业，有330亩标准蔬菜大棚，镇政府网站称其为和平镇乡村振兴的特色名片。[1][3]

村名由来[edit]

村东有一道小溪，称东坑溪，村庄因溪得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年为东坑大队，隶红专、城郊和平等公社。1984年改称东坑村，隶和平乡；1995年建镇后仍归和平镇。[1]

产业与荣誉[edit]

镇政府网站载，村内拥有「东番红」党建品牌，村庄先后获「全国蔬菜标准园」等称号，并被评为「省级文明村」「省级乡村振兴试点村」，又获「省级高级版绿盈乡村」之名。[3]

东坑村党支部在2011年获龙岩市先进基层党组织称号，2012年又获「全省创先争优先进基层党组织」称号。[2]

2019年12月，本村入选第一批「国家森林乡村」名单；2020年12月，本村获认定为龙岩市第一批「中级版绿盈乡村」。[1]

2021年2月，本村入选「福建省2018—2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。同年10月，本村被认定为「2021年漳平市一村一品专业村」（蔬菜），同月龙岩市农业农村局也将其认定为「龙岩市2021年市级一村一品专业村」（蔬菜）。[1]

2021年11月，本村被命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2021年12月，被确定为「福建省第二批高级版绿盈乡村（乡镇）」。[1]

2025年3月，本村被认定为「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
