东坑村是港尾镇下辖的行政村，地处镇域中南部，南面山脉与南太武山相连，西侧紧靠山壁，东面迎着卓岐头一带的海风。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1947年此村为海澄县港尾镇的东坑保，1950年改属海澄县第三区。[1]

1961年从原先的大队中分出，独立设东坑大队。1984年成为港尾乡的东坑村，1988年乡改镇后名称随之变为港尾镇东坑村，1993年又改为龙海市的村委会建制，延续至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2023年9月，东坑村被认定为「漳州市2023年度市级一村一品专业村」，主打花菜。[1]
