东坑村是福建省泉州市惠安县山霞镇的行政村，村落濒临惠南海岸，离崇武半岛不远，201省道穿村而过[1][2]。

地理环境[edit]

村域东侧与崇武镇相邻，西侧与青山村接壤，南侧连着下坑村，北侧是山腰村。201省道贯穿村中，并与惠崇路相连，交通便利[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

村名原作「东沟」，因居住地形似一个坑，改称「东坑」[1][2]。明代此地属福建泉州府青山前十六铺；民国时改为东坑村。其间曾隶属崇武公社与东岭公社，1953年后设为东坑大队；1990年改设东坑村公所，1994年改为东坑村民委员会[1][2]。

经济[edit]

村内有东坑石材工业区和商住区，建成已有一定规模，村民从事石雕、工匠、商业、建筑等行业[2]。

文化[edit]

2020年12月，村庄被认定为「2020年泉州市中级版绿盈乡村」[1][2]。
