东坑村位于大田县城区东北部，距县城约14公里，属均溪镇。村中的东坑郑氏祖祠为明代建筑。[1][3]

1984年设东坑村民委员会，沿用至今。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期，此地属三十二都。1950年2月县政府成立后，东坑与半山合称东山乡，划入第一区；1955年仍归东山乡。[1]

1958年东山乡设大队，归东风公社（均溪）；1961年东山大队一分为二，东坑归建成公社。1970年东坑大队改归城关公社，1984年设村民委员会。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

村辖前洋、霞洋、后洋、下尾洋等4个自然村。[1]

2012年末，村有12个村民小组、518户，总人口1787人。村域面积8676.75亩，其中耕地864.15亩，林地6582亩，森林覆盖率为63.1%。[1]

村内矿产较丰富，主要有石灰石、铜矿、铅锌矿、硫矿等，其中以石灰石储量最多。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

东坑郑氏祖祠为明代建筑，坐西向东。始建于明正统初年（1436年），成化十六年（1480年）曾经扩建；前部为外埕与门亭，其后依次为厢房、正堂与后花台。[3]
