东坑村是清流县余朋乡下辖的行政村，位于县境东北部，距县城37公里，古称东溪。村民以陈氏为主，南宋末年陈氏始祖文陆公在此定居。[1][6]

村中保存着明清时期的古建筑、书院遗迹和族谱。2015年10月被认定为福建省第一批省级传统村落，2022年10月被纳入第六批中国传统村落名单，2021年11月获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1][7]

历史沿革[edit]

先人自明溪一带迁来，先住在旧场，后移居东溪。南宋末年，始祖文陆公在这片山谷中安家，至今已有七百多年。[1][6]

村子四面环山，陈氏祖祠坐西朝东，村名由此而来。解放前此地称东坑保，分属旧时的梦里、沙芜两乡；成立后划入清流县第三区。1958年公社化时设大队，1984年起称东坑村。[1]

地理环境[edit]

2023年，县文旅部门的名录载东坑村辖区面积71平方千米，山林52000亩，耕地3300亩。村中至今仍留有三十多口古井，形状有方有圆，部分仍在使用。[6][5]

人口民族[edit]

同一名录称，东坑村下辖12个自然村，共416户，1920人。[6]

文化[edit]

陈氏族人在明清时期先后设立了桂园书馆、琢玉书院、六有轩书院等多座书院。县政府的文章列出八座，各家说法不一，有称七座、九座的。[4][1]

村中留有《东溪陈氏族谱》清嘉庆、道光、光绪年间的三个版本。明清两代，村中有14名贡生、5名举人，还出过1名进士；做到知县以上官职的有8人。[4][1]

正月初三，村里按街坊分为六组进行「走游会」接力比赛，各组推选一位「福首」，全程设六棒，这项活动延续至今。[3][5]

名胜古迹[edit]

东坑建筑群位于村中，建于明清时期，共七处建筑，包括书院、祠堂、庙宇、民居和过街木牌楼「陈氏一门」。其中琢玉书院创办于明永乐年间，该建筑群2018年列为福建省省级文物保护单位。[1][8]

古寨建在村东北的寨顶山上，离村约0.5公里。据《东坑陈氏族谱》记载，古寨始建于明洪武廿六年，由告老还乡的东坑人陈定应倡议全村修筑。寨墙周长约3公里，墙宽约1米，石块砌成，外墙高约4米，内墙高约1米。[2]

龙吟静室在跃子山上，清顺治年间由僧人是岸创建，村中的陈允升常在此讲学。[4]

著名人物[edit]

陈允升是清乾隆年间的贡生，早年在桂园书院读书，后从嵩溪福潭书院的余日乾学习，著有《易史一隅》。[2][4]

陈用宾为云南巡抚，曾在滇西经略；书法家陈荣棆也出自此村。[4]
