地名由来[edit]

村委会设在大坑村，村名来自此地位于大官坑与黄金坑之间的盆地。盆地地势下凹如大坑，四面环山，故名[1]。

沿革[edit]

1951年称大坑乡；1958年为大坑大队，属浮山公社；1983年复为大坑乡，属浮山区。1986年改设大坑村委会，属浮山乡；1990年设大坑管理区，属浮山镇；1999年设大坑村委会，沿用至今[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予大坑村「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号[1]。
