百度百科称，此地历史可追溯到明代中叶，当时谢姓人家迁居于此，2004年设立竹山社区[3]。

经济与产业[edit]

博雅地名网所载，社区2023年的经营总收入为二千零九十万元，较上年同期增加24.48%；支出720万元；集体总资产19580万元，净资产16669万元，资产负债率14.87%[2]。

政府网概况称，社区西侧规划了高新工业园区，并以盘活老旧厂房作为集体经济的突破口；朗星五金电子制品生产项目已经竣工投产。辖区两个工业园的招商率达到100%，行业涵盖家居电子、五金制品、模具和锂电池等[1]。
