历史沿革[edit]
村名来历：村委会旁的河水常年冲来河沙，村民要不断铲沙，河叫沙铲河，村委会也以此取名[1]。
1960年设沙铲公社，1962年改为沙铲大队，1983年为沙铲乡，1987年称管理区，1999年定名沙铲村委会[1]。
经济[edit]
沙铲河绕村而过，产优质高岭土和河沙。办事处设在沙铲老圩，圩形成于明代，与雅塘镇隔河相望，交易活跃。村里种有红橙、荔枝、龙眼等水果。[1]
