双坪村位于洛阳镇西南部，东邻大布镇，南连英德市波罗镇，距镇政府40公里，统计用区划代码440232106208。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村里有粟地坪、后洞坪两个带“坪”字的自然村，所以称双坪。[1]1949年后先设双坪乡，1958年为大队，1983年设乡政府，1986年成立村委会，1989年称管理区，1998年重设村委会。[1]
人口民族[edit]
全村耕地1254亩，几乎都是旱地（1239亩），水田只有15亩；另有林地19048.5亩。145户1024人，分在5个村小组：后洞坪、竹山、大木山、亚已寨和粟地坪。[1]
