东山村是汕尾市陆丰市内湖镇的行政村，在乌坎港上游西北侧、内湖镇东南方，据博雅地名网记载面积约3平方千米，共分2个村民小组，人口2357人，距陆丰市区约25千米、距镇政府约4千米，经济基础较弱。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立后属博美管辖；1972年归东桥公社，1983年东桥公社撤销后与西陂、小坞合并为西陂乡。2005年西陂村委会分设为四个村委会，东山村委会为其一，沿用至今。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

东山村在2019年9月公布的2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」省级创建单位中有名；2021年12月，获2021年度广东省卫生村称号。[1]
