赤岭村是汕尾市陆丰市内湖镇最南端的行政村，在乌坎港上游的西北侧，据博雅地名网记载面积约4平方千米，共分7个自然村民小组，人口4682人，距镇区约6千米，列为省重点扶贫村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1953年设博美区赤岭乡，此后几经变动：1975年为东桥公社赤岭大队，1983年再回博美区赤岭乡，1987年成博美镇赤岭村委会，1994年内湖建镇后称管理区，1999年定名赤岭村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
赤岭村在2019年9月公布的2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」省级创建单位中有名；2024年3月，被命名为2023年度广东省卫生村。[1]
