北门社区在海丰县城中心，面积约0.2平方千米，下辖11个居民小组和4个经济合作社，总人口10311人（博雅地名网），因县城北门得名。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网写，1384年设县城北门，后来在此形成北门村；1958年并入城北大队，1986年从城北大队分出，设北门居委，2004年改称北门居委会。[1]

地理与经济[edit]

红城大道横穿社区，沿街商铺林立，蓝天广场购物中心和县城的快餐连锁店都在辖区内；社区自有商铺12间，年租金30万元。[1][2]
