三村在城北镇东北部，设16个村民小组，属梅州市梅江区城北镇下辖的行政村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

该村南邻杨文村，北接塔下村，从银营往下数是第三个村庄，故名三村。[1]

1949年设三村乡，隶属城北区；1956年撤区并乡，归城西乡。1958年改设三村大队，属卫星人民公社（后称梅城人民公社）；1960年城北人民公社从梅城人民公社分设，该村随之改属。1983年设三村乡，归城北区公所管辖；1987年改为村民委员会，隶属城北乡；1989年称三村管理区；1998年定名为三村村民委员会，隶属城北镇。[1]

经济[edit]

村情资料载，全村有263户、992人，总面积5.6平方公里，耕地740亩，种水稻和沙田柚；所记上一年农村经济总收入973万元（年份未注明）。村支部争取资金30多万元，铺设道路1600多米、水圳600多米。[1]

2019年9月，该村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
