历史沿革[edit]
相传在厂头与下角的交汇处，干才村委会旧址和加油站后的大榕树下，河里有块形如棺材的石头，当地人称此处「棺材石」，改名时取谐音为干才。[1]
1949年设干才乡，隶属城北区；1956年撤区并乡，归城西乡。1958年改设干才大队，属卫星人民公社（后称梅城人民公社）；1960年城北人民公社从梅城人民公社分设，该村随之改属。1983年设干才乡，归城北区管辖；1987年改为村民委员会，隶属城北乡；1989年称干才管理区；1998年定名为干才村村民委员会，隶属城北镇。[1]
经济[edit]
村情资料载，全村有352户、1309人，总面积6平方公里，耕地882亩，种水稻；所记上一年农村经济总收入1267万元（年份未注明）。村里兴办、引进村级企业，以化解村级债务。[1]
