历史沿革[edit]
村子在岭上岃一带，依地形得名。[1]
该村原属明阳村，位于大岭岃，后从明阳村分出，称岭上大队。1983年设岭上乡，归城北区管辖；1987年改为村民委员会，隶属城北乡；1989年称岭上管理区；1998年定名为岭上村委会，隶属城北镇。[1]
经济[edit]
村情资料载，全村有277户、1131人，总面积6.47平方公里，耕地1030亩，种水稻和沙田柚，沙田柚是特色收入；所记上一年农村经济总收入1230万元（年份未注明）。村里整治行路难、饮水难，把低产田退耕还林，禁止毁林开荒。[1]
