下村是广东省惠州市博罗县湖镇镇下辖的行政村，广东航天农业科技生态园所在地。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

地名资料称，国家修建新丰江水库时，移民迁到这里建新村，起名神下围，寓意求神灵庇佑，称为小下围村，后来简称下村。[1]

清代属博罗县善政巡司署，民国属八德乡，中华人民共和国成立后属湖镇乡；1959年归新作塘人民公社，1986年属湖镇镇，1999年起称下村民委员会。[2]

经济[edit]

村情介绍称，全村共100户，常住人口451人，土地面积约2.4平方公里，全年生产总值约145万元，人均收入7011元（原文未注明年份）。当地适宜种植山茶、水果、粮食、蔬菜、甜玉米等，并发展水产养殖；村里获过「计划生育先进村」「惠州市生态村」等称号。[2]

2026年1月，下村被评为广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

广东航天农业科技生态园设在下村农场，距县城约15公里；园区2004年起建航天育种基地，评为国家3A级旅游景区。[3][4]
