横光村是广东省惠州市博罗县湖镇镇下辖的行政村，原属响水镇。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
相传清乾隆四十一年（1776年）起，兴宁、福建等地的人迁入，至今约300年（原文表述）。村落所在的地名回龙岗，走向是横的，「岗」与「光」谐音，所以叫横光。[1]
中华人民共和国成立后属响水乡，1958年归新作塘公社，1990年起称横光村民委员会，2006年响水镇并入湖镇镇。[1]
