下村是梅州市梅县区雁洋镇的行政村，1980年由小都村分出[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
原为小都村辖下的自然村，叫小都下村，1980年单独设为行政村，定名下村[1]。清朝归程乡县锦州堡，民国时期归梅县锦州乡，中华人民共和国成立后划入丙村区；1956年划归三乡乡，1961年划入三乡人民公社，1986年改称下村管理区，1999年起，村民委员会改称下村村委会[1]。
