埔头村是广东省惠州市博罗县湖镇镇下辖的行政村，原属响水镇。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
地名资料说，埔头庄已有约一千年，宋代郑姓人家迁来落居，全庄始为郑姓；庄在埔头岭下，故名埔头。（资料所称迁出地「福建省南雄县」与现行区划不合，存疑。）[1]
中华人民共和国成立后属响水乡，1958年归新作塘公社，1990年起称埔头村民委员会，2006年响水镇并入湖镇镇。[1]
