下村（村委会称下村村）是吴川市樟铺镇下辖的行政村，位于镇东北部、鉴江西岸，与化州市长岐镇的塘尾村相邻，辖8个村民小组，总人口4784人，耕地2350亩[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
下村与三浪一样，早先包含在博厚之内（1952年第三区振文的博厚行政村）；1961年归五和小公社，1964年分出独立设下村大队，1975年划入樟铺公社。1983年称乡委会，1987年称管理区，1998年起为下村村民委员会[1]。
经济与社会[edit]
村里主要种水稻，经济作物以香蕉为主[2]。有荔湾、博厚2所公办完全小学和1所民办小学[2]。约2000人在广州、深圳、佛山等地务工经商，外出的乡亲回乡捐资，博厚村近年筹资近500万元，重建了村中小学，修成4公里长的水泥环村路和2公里排污渠[2]。博雅地名网称，斗门村是樟铺镇唯一的吴川市特色文化村[2]。
荣誉[edit]
2026年1月，下村获评广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村；2019年9月被纳入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」[1]。
