庵里村属东海岛上的东简街道，博雅地名网写作奄里村。[1]村名是因辖区内有庵里上村、庵里下村两处村庄而取。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

庵里乡设于1952年，1958年成为庵里大队；1983年恢复乡的名称，1986年又称管理区，1987年管理区撤销，改由村民委员会管理，至今未变。[1]

地理与经济[edit]

百度百科的条目称，村在东海岛南端，海岸线长约6公里，共7个自然村，除庵里上村、庵里下村外还有水洋、极角、衔口山、潭水塘、河沟；总人口7486人（未注明年份），林地2632亩，耕地2236亩，另有1682亩水产养殖面积。[2]

同一条目还说，村里有约30公顷红树林；清代在此设庵里盐场，称是粤西早期的盐业中心之一，近年停产；村属革命老区，建有潭水塘生态文明村。[2]这些说法没有官方页面可以对照。

荣誉[edit]

庵里村（奄里村）2019年9月被列入2018年度「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位，2022年9月被认定为湛江市2022年文明村。[1]
